This project was for a community arts project in downtown Lancaster, PA. Architect Chris Dawson’s design won a contest sponsored by the local AIA chapter. The goal was to provide a great art feature as well as functional protection for this outdoor piano. GSM Industrial partnered with Chris and his team to fabricate the structure so that a volunteer team could erect it. It was assembled and used for the summer of 2010 and will find a new home in the city in following years.
