Facility
Located on 15 acres of land just off of US Route 30 in the western part of Lancaster County, GSM's 110,000 sq. ft. facility enables our skilled fabricators and tradesmen to meet a wide range of fabrication and finishing requirements for products from small brackets to large ductwork, structural steel and equipment. Some advantages of our facility include:
- A single 110,000 sq. ft. facility with a wide-open floor plan laid out for minimizing material handling and maximizing production.
- A designated heavy fabrication bay that houses 2 CNC plasma cutters and an assortment of heavy shears, press brakes and rolls
- Two designated fit-up, welding and assembly bays fitted with 5-, 10-, & 15-ton overhead cranes for a maximum single-bay lifting capacity of 55 tons
- A light fabrication bay under 2-ton cranes intelligently laid out for smaller scale fabrication processes and projects
- A well equipped structural steel fabrication area
- A state-of-the-art full downdraft paint room and separate blast room, each housed within the facility and designed for easy material handling. We've blasted and painted large projects exceeding 64' in length!
- Well maintained equipment to accommodate:
MIG, TIG and Stick Welding to AWS and ASME requirements
