How long have you been employed with GSM Industrial?
What is your job and what does it entail?
Field Operations Manager – I take care of all the job scheduling and equipment rentals for the field crews.
How would you describe the team/work culture at GSM Industrial?
It is very team oriented. Everyone helps everyone else out no matter what need to be done.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Probably in the same role with GSM Industrial.
What is the most exciting thing you are currently working on?
A stainless steel cooling tower basin we are installing at Yale University in New Haven, CT.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
To make sure that the field crews know what they are doing and where they are going. I have to make sure they are using the right equipment to successfully complete their project while staying within budget.
What is something most people do not know about you?
I worked as a Roofer for GSM Roofing (back then called Gooding, Simpson, & Mackes) during summers between my high school years. I have 4 Harleys and 5 dogs.
What music is on your playlist?
I listen to mostly 80’s rock, hair and metal. I do listen to some country as well.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?
My grandmothers; by the time I was born they had both already passed away.
How would you explain your job to a class of kindergartners?
I make a schedule each week so the field crew guys know where they will be working and who is on the crew with them. I rent equipment for them to use on their jobs.
