Job Summary:

Primarily responsible for managing the mechanical contracting and industrial steel fabrication and installation needs of a base of accounts. Also responsible for establishing new accounts with assistance from an Outside Sales Representative.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develops long lasting and successful business relationships with new and existing accounts related to custom metal design, fabrication and installation.
  • Meets or exceeds annual sales goals and profit margins.
  • Calculates the associated costs for human and equipment resource requirements for a wide range of industrial projects, both in field scenarios and shop fabrication services.
  • Performs and/or delegates the project life cycle responsibilities: project management, design, engineering, detailing, dissecting, purchasing, fabrication management, shipping and invoicing.
  • Additional project responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following functions:
    • Development and management of projects & project schedules from the initial customer contact through project execution and completion.
    • Scheduling of all kickoff meetings and necessary progress meetings and interacting cooperatively with both office personnel, including design & engineering and field & shop personnel including foremen, welders, fitters and supervisors, in order to ensure the success of all projects.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize essential functions to assure completion on time and on budget.
  • Possesses exceptional professionalism with a competitive nature but focused in giving back, collaborating-with and mentoring Team members.In addition to the essential functions listed above, the employee is expected to exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all customers and co-workers.   • Minimum two years of post high school training and five years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and principles
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and steel fabrication and/or installation services
  • Ability to represent and sell the company and its products and services
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and estimate time and materials requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Intermediate mathematics
  • Planning and time-management skills
  • Ability to execute goals and objectives
  • Computer skills & willingness to adopt InforVisual ERP software processes & procedures
  • Valid PA driver’s license
