GSM Industrial Case Study:
The manufacturing company’s existing access platform and stairs weren’t functioning well. After an employee was injured in a fall, the customer knew they needed to improve the usability and safety – and make modifications to meet OSHA code. We talked with them to find out what wasn’t working, identified the changes needed to meet OSHA code, and took measurements. We were able to design a modification plan that reused much of what was already in place. We then created CAD drawings and within three weeks of getting the order, we had the new platform and stairs in place. And they were back to working on that piece of machinery – in a safer environment.
