While the original scope called for the platform to be mounted to an existing block wall, onsite evaluation revealed a new complication — the wall was in a deteriorated condition, requiring a significant mid-project pivot.
Our team began by designing the steel access system in-house, incorporating both the platform and stair system for efficient fabrication and safe installation. However, once onsite, our field crew identified structural issues with the wall designated to support the platform.
Rather than delay the project, GSM Industrial quickly redesigned the platform to include structural support legs, eliminating reliance on the compromised wall. Our ability to react in real time with in-house design, fabrication, and skilled field installers helped us deliver a complete, field-adjusted solution.
